My wife and I have been searching for a new Washer and Dryer combo for the past couple months. After extensive searching throughout the City of Toronto, we came across several competitive rates. We decided on an LG Washer and Dryer set, since it has everything that we were looking for in a Washer and Dryer.

My husband and I just moved into a house in the west side of Toronto, which, luckily, came fully and very nicely furnished. Even the appliances look almost brand new and are in excellent shape, with the exception of the stove, which worked pretty well but did not match the rest of our kitchen at all.

Whirlpool Washer and Dryer

My dryer has been on its last legs for at least 6 months now, shaking violently when it’s running and taking several hours and at least two full cycles to get even small loads dry. My wife and I decided that even though our washer still worked reasonably well – it is an ancient top loading Whirlpool like the dryer – we might as well replace both and get a matching pair.

The Upton brothers started their business in 1911 but had no idea their company would grow from a small enterprise to a worldwide entity called The Whirlpool Corporation, with factories on every major continent. Louis, Frederick and Emory developed the product electric motor-driven wringer washer.
These machines were designed with both innovation and ingenuity and the Upton brothers stood behind their appliances. After a couple of years Upton was asked to manufacture washers for retail giants.
